Notice I said sockS? I was only signed up to make one because I thought that would be a huge enough challenge. It was. But then me being the perfectionist that I am decided I wanted to do 2. So I did. And I finished in time!!!
It was the first time using double pointed needles. The first time using 4 needles at once. And the first time making socks. So, I learned a lot! And now I have some groovy socks! There is no repeat with the yarn I used, so they are not supposed to match…just supposed to be random stripes. That they are! Socks are addicting! I want to make some more but with a different pattern and different, better yarn. I want to make the next cleaner, not with a ribbed top, sort of like trouser socks but with a simple design on top and with nice soft merino or something.
So, here they are!
, but have since done another. Are they by chance made with Lion brand Magic Stripes in Jelly Bean? I have that yarn to make my dd a poncho and the colors look the same.
