FO--Kidlet Tank

The Kidlet Tank for my niece’s birthday. The tank is knit in Bernat Cotton Tots, color Strawberry. It’s a really quick and easy knit, and the yarn is really soft. (I like it so much that I’m in the process of knitting a version of this for myself using the same yarn.)

The photo shows the tank unblocked, and barely visible is a wee cable running down the front center.

Great Job Ang! I hope it fits her okay - I know that part was oh so fun for you. Yummy color!

That’s very nice. I like the color and the single cable. I think single cables look elegant. A kid can be elegant, right?

:cheering: :happydance: Great job…i love, love the color, so girly :cheering:

Great job, I love the color!

Wow, so cute! My 7-yo DD would love that…thanks for the site!

Thanks all!

I’m not a big fan of pink, usually, but this particular shade is just lovely and screams “girlie.” Plus this particular niece is blond with huge blue eyes, so it’s a perfect color for her. It’s not going to look as cute on me, the one I’m making, but I overbought on yarn (a first!).

Thank you for sharing this tank pattern! Can’t wait to make one for my daughter – I’ll have to do the math to re-size it to an 18 mth - 24 mth size, but that shouldn’t be too bad.

Love the cable down the front!

I love that color! It looks great.

Very cute!!!

How did you do the cable down the center?

That’s adorable, Angelia!

Really cute! Thanks for the pattern link.

Very cute!

Beautiful!

Thanks, all, for your encouragement!

I put stitch markers in the sweater dividing it into quarters so I’d know where I was at any given time (center back, sides, center front). So, I used the last three stitches of the second quarter (right side to right front) and the first three of the third quarter (left front to left side), which put the cable center front. It sounds more complicated than it was, actually!

Super cute! You’ll have to get her to model it.

Great job!! What a beautiful color!!

:inlove: I’m in the process of making my 3 yr old a tank top also! Yours is so beautiful! Great job!

Thanks, Crystal!

I’ll have a pic of her in it tomorrow! :happydance:

Hope it fits…
