FO: Jeannette's Ishbel

Knit for my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday this fall. A very quick, easy pattern - 4 days from cast-on to blocking. This would be an excellent first lace project, and I’m sure I’ll knit this pattern again.

Pattern: Ishbel by Ysolda Teague
Yarn: Colinette Jitterbug in Sunrise colorway

Wowee…that is gorgeous!!!

Couldn’t have said it better. “Lace” is one thing I always want to do, but never get around to.

It’s GORGEOUS!!! 4 days? Wow … you’re fast!

Wonderful work, Slim! A heartfelt thing is a beautiful thing! She’ll love it!

Golleeeee! that is gorgeous. Would it be too difficult for a not-so-brave knitter who has only ever done socks at the most difficult project?

If you can do socks, you should have no problem with this pattern. It’s a great “first lace” pattern.

Hi!

I might try this one soon. looks great and seems not to demand concentration to the moon and back (though it is lace, of course!)
well done, your project!
