FO: Ipod Cover. I DID IT!

You guys I’m so proud of myself like you have no idea.
I just finished my first knitting piece…EVER!

And I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome even if I wanted to. :woot:

I did have a particular hard time sewing the seams together but thanks to “theguywhoknits” and “gotta knit” I was able to figure it out.
Thank you both…you guys rock!!! :muah: :cheering:

And for those interested in the pattern steps here’s the link to my blog: http://lexymalfoy.blogspot.com/2009/06/fo-ipod-cover-i-did-it.html

BTW…a friend of mine has dared me to do the Tom Baker scarf from Dr Who and I think I just might take him up on that challenge.

Till next time,
Lexy

i like the buttons

Thanks. I actually saw the buttons at Michaels first before deciding on the yarn. :inlove: It came in a pack with other colors in it too like green, blue, yellow, and purple.

Very, very cute!!! Nice job!

I love the design!

Very nice for your first knitted piece!

It’s so cute! I want one…is that an Ipod Touch?

I just love it… love the colours and the gorgeous buttons!
And, best of all - it fits!:woohoo:
Congratulations on your first piece! You did a great job!
TEMA:thumbsup:

Great job!! The buttons really do make it extra special

Thanks hun.

Thank you. I shocked my mom when I was done. She didn’t believe me when I told her that I knitted it.

Oh yeah! That’s what I love about it. Although I am thinking of making a few others…just to switch things up from time to time.

Thanks hun. I love the buttons. In fact they were what I noticed first. Then I picked out the yarn.

lol. Thank you. You guys have been so helpful from the beginning. I’m really grateful for all of your insight and help.

Hehehe…nope. It’s a classic. Although I am making one for my friend who has a itouch and another one for her sister who has a nano.

lol. Thanks hun. Yeah…I was really careful to make sure it actually fit. Imagine if after all of that work it didn’t fit.

Thanks hun. I’m glad you guys liked it.

Woo hooooo!!! :woot: Doin’ the happy dance for ya! Congrats!:woohoo:

Great job with your first FO! The buttons are adorable. I’m glad that link on seaming was useful.

lol. Thanks hun.

Thanks.
And yes…thank you again. It definitely helped.

I am so glad you perservered! It is lovely and the buttons just finish it off perfectly. Congratulations big time!

That’s adorable! Congrats on your first piece! (Just to let you know, my first piece was something like a skinny 5 stitch scarf that ended up at 12 stitches, and looked like crap. Your knitting it sooooo amazing for a first piece!)

Nothing says, “I love my ipod” quite so much as a cozy little cover for it with hearts. This turned out very cute. Good job on the knitting, and the selection of materials to use.

Thanks hun. I’m quite proud of this one. I’ve actually decided to do another one in a different type of yarn but a bit modified.

Awww…you’re making me blush. :aww:
Thank you.

Thanks hun. You guys are so sweet and sportive and very helpful throughout the whole process. Thank you!
