FO intense booties

I suppose size 0 dpn weren’t a good choice for me, but it was the only size I had enough to make both simultaneously.

I think I may have a museum of US yarn companies in my closets.
I tried to get the “Made in France” in the pic.

OMGosh, how cute!!! I  those booties!! size ZERO?! I’d be blind

You did a beautiful job-what is the yarn?

They are adorable. How old is that yarn? Sears used to sell yarn???

too cute!!! They are really nice.

they are so sweet!

Soooooooooooo cute!

aaaaaaw!

I really  love those booties. I can only imagine how intense knitting with size “0” needles was because I get overwhelmed with size “6” needles. Great job.

WOW!! These are just darling!! And your work is absolutely perfect!!

:inlove: them so cute… great job!!

Those are just too cute!!

They look extremely adorable!!!

Great job!!!

Thank you all for the nice comments.

Hilary, I was definately sight impaired. I could barely see the end of the hook to pick up dropped sts.

Bonnie, I made a very lacey sweater with that yarn when I was pregnant with my second daughter.
Ummmmmmmmmmm, that was 1971. UGH

Not only did Sears carry yarn, it was wonderful yarn.
They also had a fabric department (where I worked PT) and sold their own line of sewing machines.

LOL, I had #1 son in '78, so I’m not that far behind you. I say ugghhh alot, too, everytime he has a birthday, because I don’t know where the years went. Anyway, how nice that you can tap into your yarn museum and enjoy your past purchases today!

My son was born in 78, too!

And the booties are adorable - future heirlooms!

Those look perfect!

AWESOME booties  :inlove: ! I have sears sewing machines  they still have them. Unless you mean “sears” as a brand…I have 3 kenmores which are Sears’s brand now, but it’s not “Sears” brand…if that makes sense

Oh, how adorable! :inlove:

You’re right Angela. Kenmore was the brand that was manufactured exclusively for Sears.
My first washer and dryer, window air conditioner, box fan and the only sewing machine I ever owned, were all Kenmore.
The only one I remember that said “Sears Kenmore” was the box fan.
Remember when Kenmore was the only brand that Sears carried?
