FO: Hat ... updated to include picture of completed mittens

Update: I finally finished the mittens to match DD’s hat.

Here is a hat I made for DD #1. It’s the checks and charms hat from the Knitpicks website. I used the merino style yarn as recommended and just changed the colors. I am so thrilled with how it came out. I haven’t bothered to block it yet, and even my gauge was accurate for a change! :smiley: I plan to make the mittens next.

I also have the yarn ready to make the same set for DD #2, but she said she wants hers to be plain white :rollseyes: …well at least it will be easy and brainless to knit.
