Those are pretty! What kind of yarn is that? I just love the colors!
The yarn was Sirdar Kool Kids chunky. I think it was discontinued some time ago.
Nice work! I just posted in the How To Forum, so I have to ask if you did the kitchener stitch on the mittens? My socks and mittens end up with square corners (‘ears’) when I do the kitchener stitch, and your mittens look nice and round.
McKnitty, the pattern was different to any others I have made. They were knitted flat and after top shaping (14 sts left), the stitches were divided onto 2 needles and then finished with 3 needle bind off.
oh those are cute! I never thought to do black yarn with other colors for my kiddo, that seems to get that brown yucky snow on her mitties all the time…(not the [I]yellow[/I] snow, the kind that’s been walked on a lot…slushy stuff!)
