I’m doing a Harry Potter themed swap and my partner wanted Gryffindor colors (Red and Gold) so I decided to design a pair of fingerless mitts for her. I wanted to do something more than just stripes so I came up with using tuck stitch on the color stripes to make them 3 dimensional. I’m really pleased with the result!
I don’t have a link to a tutorial because I learned the stitch from a project in Knitscene magazine. I just went and googled “tuck stitch knitting” and there seemed to be quite a few pages pop up so you might check out that
