I made these for a piano major friend of mine who constantly has cold hands and I wanted her to have free movement in them so she could wear them while she plays.
This is my own pattern knit on size 8 DPNs with Red Heart Giant worsted weight yarn, color country blue and they each took about 10 hours solid knitting.

Yup that’s trellis stitch at the bottom. They’re supposed to match a trellis stitch scarf I’m making for her as well.
