FO fingerless gloves

made following http://www.knittingnewscast.com/knc/Patterns/Generators/WristWarmers.aspx a very handy pattern generator

used Manos del Uruguay Wool Clasica yarn, absolutely love the contrast of the colours, the soft pastels against the rich purple  yarn was nice to work with although did get a little too thin for my liking at some places and almost knitted 2 stitches as 1 a few times >.<

That looks great!

BTW…if you use Flickr you can post in here easier. Link is in my sig.

Looks lovely and the yarn is really nice :))

Thanks for the link…that’s awesome.:cheering:

QUESTION…it calls for dpn’s (which I have but haven’t tried yet). I just got comfortable knitting in the round…can I use them instead? I have 16" cables. Crossed Fingers

ty all! I am a little annoyed as I have just received an email newsletter from the website saying the yarn I used is now on sale!! >.<

Jan, I don’t have flickr and pretty comfortable with imageshack, they do all the thumbnail sizing for you so I just copy and paste it which is easy enough for me

sgtpam, I used 80cm circular needles but used the magic loop method, I don’t know if your needles are long enough to use the magic loop method, best to ask someone else!

Great job! They look wonderful!!

:thumbsup:Great job!

its so lovely n neatly done …thnsk for sharing

good job, pretty colors too

Thanks for the link…I just took a class to make fingerless gloves. I worked about 4 inches on it and decided to try it on because it looked too small. And yes, it was too small. So I have to frog it and start over. This link would have prevented that problem. Thanks again

Lovely colors and the mitts look nice and warm. Good job.

another good thing about the pattern is that its ribbed so very stretchy and doesn’t have to fit perfectly

Very nice! I keep threatening myself to get my act together and make a pair of these REALLY NEAT fingerless gloves like yours!

Way to go! I love the yarn you used, too!
