FO: Extra warm Sweater-Jacket

I finished this sweater for dd last month (for Christmas), and finally had a ‘cool’ Florida day to try it on. DD knew that I was knitting a sweater for her, but she does not know that it matches the “choo-choo” sweater that I knitted for dgs last Christmas – it still fits him.
Details: Lion brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick sky blue, size 13 needles, pattern: Lion free pattern, 3-season Sweater Jacket, size M.
I did not knit in the pocket – could not figure out the instructions – but added a cable on each side. Another slight change – I did short rows for the shoulder shaping, then 3-needle bind-off.
Pictures: I also knitted a matching hat. DD is taller and slightly bigger than I am, so the sweater should fit perfectly.

Thanks everybody for your kind comments. DH asked me if I was knitting a blanket! The sweater will be great for Colorado winters.
