FO: Dual Colour Scarf

This is my first scarf project I have attempted and completed. It took me a while to get it done as I worked very slowly on it.

Pattern: 24 stitches wide
1st rowK2, P2 to end
2nd row P2, K2 to end
3rd row P2, K2 to end
4th row K2, P2 to end

Repeating in sets of four

To add a bit of mixture to the pattern i used two colours of wool at the same time side by side as if it was one yarn. I used a navy and a green coloured wool i picked up cheap from the shop that was discounted as this project was just a test to get more practice at knitting. The length of the finished piece was as long as it took me to reach the end of the balls of wool.

Very nice, I really like the colours you used. Well done for sticking with it, I usually get half way through a scarf and then lose the will to live, lol!!

I really like it! I could never finish a scarf because halfway through it I would think how I could use this yarn for something better. And then I would frog it. Good job!:yay:

This reminds me of a scarf my mother knit for me, also with 2 strands of yarn in different colours. I still love it and have been wearing it on and of for over 15 years now. Scarf can last a long time  I hope yours will be worn happily.

I like how the colours come together.

That’s so pretty. You should be very pleased. You did very well.

Knit till you run out of yarn. I do that with some things.

Lovely. The two colors have worked out really nicely together and the pattern looks good. Enjoy wearing it!

Wonderful!
I love how the two colours came out… very nice!
And, look at you… you make a design decision with the yarns together and as to how long it was going to be.
Way to go!
TEMA :yay:

It looks beautiful

Thanks for all your kind words, i was a little unsure how it might turn out but in the end its pretty good.
