FO Drop Stich mustard cowl

First time knitting with chunky yarn (and I love it), first time following a pattern and first time doing dropped stitches.

Yarn:
Cygnet Seriously Chunky Barley 1 and a half skeins.

Pattern:
Drop Stitch Cowl

Needles:
US 17
12 mm

Time:
One day

You did a great job! It looks super warm

Thank you very much!

Can anybody suggest me super chunky yarn? (for needles 15 or 17) I would like new yarn that is in the same price range and thickness as Seriously Chunky yarn, but that it has a bit of wool or something other than 100% Acrylic. (it can be a blend, i know 100% wool can’t be so cheap ;))
And I should be able to buy it online

Thank you!

That will warm you up. Very nice. WoolEase calls for sz. 13 needles to get 9 sts/4". The wool percentage in it varies. You can look here too. SpinRite super bulky yarns.

Thank you!

Beautiful work!!!

Super nice! I love cowls, no ends to worry about like with a scarf, and faster to knit!

Thank you everybody  I also make fingerless mittens that match :cheering:

That looks so nice and warm

BTW, good job on the dropped stitches! They look quite evenly to me - I struggle to get them the same length all along the row, let alone on different rows. Nice work!

Pretty! It looks very warm!

Wow! It’s spectacular! Very cozy! Very stylish, too!
