I did it!!! I finished my daughters dress. I used Eco-Fil (supposedly recycled)75% Cotton/25% Acrylic. on size 4 needles. I didn’t have a pattern I made it up as I went. I think it will be great for the summer to throw over her bathing suit being cotton.

I had no idea really what I was making for sure until I cast on and started knitting. I have always liked the diamond eyelet (I think my mom had made me something as a kid with it which may explain why I like it) and now that I have such a cute model to knit for it is so much fun. Also this site is making knitting more addictive as well. :teehee:

Thanks guys.I grew up watching my mom knit and up until about two months ago all I could do was cast on and knit straight accross. Then I found this wonderful web site and learned how to do so many wonderful things and the encouragement you get from others is inspiring as well.
