All of those rounds of seemingly endless stockinette are finally done! :yay:
It was definitely a learning experience working EZs Seamless Yoke Sweater. Math, knit, measure, math, knit, measure… you get the point. :teehee: And I still hate Kitchener stitch, but I did finally learn how to do it for the underarm joins. That’s a plus!
It looks a bit mooshed because I’m finger blocking some uneven stitches while it dries. If nothing else DGD has a piece of warm, colorful play wear made for her with love by her crazy gramma.
Charlotte, that’s so cute! The never-ending knit ended well. There is love knit into it with every stitch. Sweaters serve up lots of love and hugs every time they’re worn. I bet DGD will love it!
Thanks GG. I know her mom does, that’s the next best thing. The next item on my growing knitting to do list is to learn how to block such a sweater as this.
I’m much better at blocking piece work that is easily pinned out. This, though, wasn’t one of those projects.
This is a beautiful sweater and I’ll bet it’ll be even more adorable on. I love the colors and the *math, knit, measure, repeat from * seems to have worked excellantly. Plus Kitchener stitch? Good for you!
Your GD is going to love this I always loved bright colors as a child and I’m sure she will also; she will wear it knowing that her Grammy made it for her with love.
Is it possible that you might be able to post a photo of the actual child wearing the actual finally finished Neverending Sweater? I’m cautious about posting photos so if her face isn’t really showing, that would be OK. I’d just love to see it being worn.
