FO: cozy Cozy

I received the yarn for this project for christmas and began knitting it on the 27th. But first I had to wind it into my first center-pull-ball without any advance tools like a ball winder or a swift! Though this hank “only” had 270g, 100g equals 400m. So I had to wind up 1080m  Yes, that took a looooooooooong time, 1 hour and 35 minutes without any breaks to be exactly!
I then ended up with a football sized ball(wish i had taken a better pic to let you see it’s size!).
I almost knitted on it nonstop from then till this tuesday! And yesterday, after cleaning my room, I blocked it. Wow, it’s much longer than I intended it to be. I forgot that it gets longer when blocked. Preblocking it was 50cm wide and 175cm long, postblocking it’s 56cm wide and way over 200cm long!!! But it’s nice never the less and thank god I’m 1,75m else it might touch the ground
I still have some of the yarn left over, probably going to felt it(it’s 100 % wool).

stats:
yarn: Kauni EG(btw. danish yarn http://www.kauni.com/)
100% wool, 100g=400m
pattern: Cozy from Knitty
needles: size 3mm
time: one week= knitting nonstop
mistakes: atleast 5, but noboy will ever notice, even I can’t see them anymore

Girl, you’re a knitting machine! That’s gorgeous! The pattern and yarn really work well together. I  it!

Beautiful!

GAWGEOUS!!! That pattern is on my to-do list, too! :happydance:

Beautiful!! I love that in the color changing yarn! :cheering:

Oh wow, I can’t believe how quickly you did Cozy! It’s beautiful. I’m working on it now, and I love the pattern…but I’m embarrassed to say how long it’s been on the needles. OK, in my defense, I’ve been doing other things, but geez-us, I guess I’m slower than molasses  Great job, and I really like the colors.

That is really beautiful javede! and I really like the yarn you used - it looks like a completely different project from the one pictured in the pattern link!

AWESOME!!!
How in the world did you manage to hold the ball after it became the size of a baseball?

:cheering: It looks great!! Beautiful yarn!

My own Cozy (which was going to be a Christmas gift) is languishing, unfinished, on a shelf…

Oh that’s so pretty! I was thinking of doing Cozy for FIL’s girlfriend for a shawl, since they live in Florida and don’t need anything “heavy duty.”

that is GEORGOUS! I love the colors!!
