What a beautiful gift of support! Way to go ![]()
very pretty and it will bring her a lot of comfort
Wow! It’s absolutely incredible …
That is beautiful!! Such pretty cables, and the color
Great job on the cables. Yes, it’s interesting how you get a sense of what looks right, what you need to do next as the pattern unfolds. Love the rich color. (Wish that yarn was avail here in SoCal as I’ve heard good things about it.)
Glad to hear your friend so appreciated your effort.

OOO LA LA! I love it!
Thanks for taking the time to show the pattern, the yarn & your notes about it. I love reading about that stuff!
I haven’t used that type of yarn before but did find it recently in a store.
I bet she LOVES it!
The cables do pop. It looks lucious. I love the color.
Thanks, y’all!
She was so surprised when I showed up at her house and gave it to her. Her response? “I could have used this in the hospital.”
:passedout:
Her daughter tried to take it from her just to feel it, and she grabbed it and said, “That’s MY blanket.”
:teehee:
Made it worth the effort.
That’s just gorgeous. I bet it’s comfy, too! Thanks for the link…I’ll definitely be trying out some of those stitches. You did a great job.
for your friend!
Oh, that is so beautiful! You did such a great job! I’ll have to keep that in mind for a Christmas present. Way to go!
That is a very lovely piece. I am sure it will warm and comfort the recipient well.
I have to say that doubling the yarn makes the project go very quickly. It would make for a GREAT Christmas gift!
I love it. this is absoulutely gorgeous
Wow!! Thanks for the rundown on your project. It turned out very nicely. Your friend should love this and with double thick yarn it should definately keep her cozy and warm. I like the color, and the cable work you did is great.
I understand about the size 17 needles. I had never tried to use such big needles until a few weeks ago. They were horrible. I could barely knit with them and my hands didn’t like it either. The 17 seemed way bigger than the 15. I could knit in peace with the 15, but the 17—forget it. LOL
You did that awfully fast too. Good job.
One of my favorite colors and it makes the cable look amazing! I used this cable stitch on a knitted scarf gift for a man. I think it is an amazing stitch.
You did an amazing job- and in only one week? WOW!
Very nice, I love the color!
