A little stashbuster from me - knitted with acrylic yarn i have and 3.75mm needles from a pattern by Yvonne Boucher. I made it for my co-worker’s toddler.
I used lots more yarn than the knitting alone, because i stuffed the caterpillar with the rest of it!

Very cute! I’ve crocheted quite a few of these for baby shower gifts, the moms always seem to like them. There is also a really neat crocheted ball that I’ve made. My DGD liked hers until she got a bouncy ball.

I have loads of acrylic that my grandmother gave me and i use it for projects like that. The colors are so wild that i can’t really knit anything but toys or similar. So i fugured that stuffing it with the yarn instead of buying toy stuffing could be a great idea. I also collect all the yarn tails that i cut from all the projects in a little bag and don’t throw it away. All the leftovers are going into that bag too, so it all ends up inside the toys:thumbsup:
