Finally finished with this white cotton pullover.

Worked a modified neckline. The original was a boat neck, which a lot of
knitters complained about, saying it choked up onto their neck, didn’t stay
down on the collarbone area.

I’m not a designer or pattern writer…so this modified neckline took me forever to figure out. Then because I of the different shape…the pattern neck edge didn’t work either. It called for the ribbing to be continued up. So I worked an attached i-cord, and I must say I like it very much.
My Ravelry notes.
Thats so pretty! I don’t like boat or crew neck sweaters at all. This neck looks nice with the design.
Love this neckline and the I-cord is just right with it. Beautiful, beautiful sweater and a much nicer overall look than the boat neck.
Gorgeous! ArtLady, I absolutely
this. Your knitting is so impeccably flawless.
Indeed, flawless knitting - and so evenly!
I like the shape of it. I imagine it flares out around the hips and the lower arms. That leaf(?)-pattern is cute and wonderfully combined with the vertical lines. It works well together. And to do it in one colour really gives the pattern the possibility to ‘pop’.
Wonderful.
Love it, love it, love it! It is just gorgeous
This is beautiful!!! I can’t wait til I can do something like this!
ArtLady,
You have mad knitting skills! I love how you are able to modify patterns! You are my hero!
Oh, I love the way the sleeves flair at the bottom! That’s absolutely beautiful!
