I’ve only been slowly working on some WIP blankets and frogged socks but in between those i’ve made 14 charity squares, or rectangles that is , to give to warm up america tomorrow when i go to my first fiber fest.
i was only going to make 12 but i read that 7 make a strip so i made the 14 and here are my 2 strips!

Very nice! I have yet to venture into the charity knitting, but I bet it feels great to know your stitches are warming someone! I am slowly running out of people to knit for, so I may have to join the charity knitting!:yay:
Lovely colours! I really want to get into charity knitting, but I think I’m a bit of a charity case of a student at the moment! Ah- that’s no excuse, it will be one of my resolutions.

knit2btied it’s just small amounts of acrylic yarn i had stashed
i got alot of it from my gram so it has to be fairly vintage
most of it was pretty soft though,especially the yellow!
when i dropped those off the ladies there was very happy to see that i had already seamed them together. i sat and made another square while my friend learned how to knit and practiced.
they complimented me on finding a very small amount of yarn (she called it abandoned) and using it as stripes with another they had in a large quantity.
i should have taken a picture of it… it was a nice time…i wish i could’ve stayed there longer!
