FO: B's Socks

Well I did it…I finished my first PAIR of socks :knitting:
I made these for the bf…the last trip to the yarn store (where he got yarn to dye for me w/ tumeric dye) I was looking for sock yarn. I have a skein of Berocco sox but I just don’t like it…others do, but not me…I finally settled on the Wildfoote Luxury Sock Yarn and made B [ick out the color he liked…green, green tweed, or red…green tweed it was :slight_smile:

I used Silver’s Sock Class for everything but the toe. When I made my single sock I realized that I just CANNOT understand the graft…lol…so I tried the 3 needle bind off and LOVE IT!!!

I finished these lovelies during the soccer match today (poor US keeps losing the first goal), washed and layed out to dry after the game:yay: :cheering: :knitting:

They came out great! I am at the SSS stage…one sock done and haven’t cast on for the second. I’ll get there eventually!

I have one sock I made me…so on that one it is SSS and I prob won’t finish it :slight_smile: I’m waiting until payday so I can order some PRETTY sock yarn from knitpicks for me…I’m not fond of the HL colors or I would have already bought some :slight_smile:
