A pretty simple watch cap, no pattern. I tried something a little different with the decreases, basically doing 5 decreases on each round so that I wound up with a 1x1 ribbing at the top. I’m not too happy with that and will probably do a more standard decrease pattern on future caps.
Oh I like it. It came out much better than my hat attempt. My BF calls the hat i made him his muslim prayer hat. yea he’s not muslim.

What don’t you like about the way you decreased? The picture looks good, both the ribbing and the shape.
Thanks. The decreases were even all the way around and all that, but they caused an odd look to the ribbing near the top. It doesn’t show now because it’s hidden by the drawn in seam, but on something that isn’t drawn in it would look kinda funny.

I think it looks great! Tim (DH) has been asking me to make him a cap to wear on watch (he’s in the Navy)… I may try something like this
