FO - Beginner Baby Afghan

I started this seven days ago; the baby shower was today at 2:00 p.m.

I did not budget my time properly, so this morning I was rushing to finish it. I will probably take a break from knitting (at least a week) to let my hands recover.

This is my first afghan ever and I really wanted it to be perfect (it’s not) but when the mother-to-be unwrapped it, the mistakes didn’t matter. I was just happy to have made something for her and her baby girl.

The pattern is Baby Afghan For Beginners. The yarn is Bernat Softee Baby in Baby Pink Marl.

a loving gift!

It’s beautiful!

Really pretty, so glad her smile brightened your day. You’re a loving friend to make a gift so nice for her.

Great job! I’ve always loved this stitch pattern. Can’t go wrong with it.

Looks great! And I know your friend will really appreciate the time and effort you put into creating something special for her and the new baby

that’s soo cute its kinda similar to the blanket I’m working on now and trying to finish before the shower in 2 weeks hopefully mine turns out as good as yours

I also love this & have printed it out for DD’s partner. She wanted something simple but not boring. This is ideal.

This is beautiful. She’ll treasure it even more because you made it for her!

Very nice  Your friend will treasure it!!

New parents are so appreciative of hand made! You gave your friend something that will be treasured forever. PS I looked really hard and couldn’t see any mistakes…kidding really

WOW, wish I could finish a blanket that fast! Beautiful!!!

I’m so impressed that you knitted this in just one week! It turned out great, and what a thoughtful gift. I’m sure mom and baby will love it.

Beeeeauuutiful! Very nice! I love the soft color, too. Your photo turned out great!
The light caught the texturing just right! Good job!
