My Ravelry notes
I got it done in time for the wedding on Saturday! Attached the i-cord straps (camisole) at 1pm…and we left at 2:30!
BTW: it was a perfect fit! The cami has gold ‘thread elastic’ running inside the top edge to keep it close to my upper chest.
Haven’t had time to do a “modeling” photo shoot…but here is the twinset:
Wow, that was a close call! :noway:
Absolutely gorgeous work! :woohoo:

Makes me wonder if anyone noticed what the bride was wearing.:teehee:
Gee, I always thought finishing an outfit within minutes of leaving for an event was standard protocol.
Well, I cast on December 6th, and finished both pieces on January 22…so that’s about 7 weeks…but take away 1 week with grandchildren visiting (couldn’t watch movies with them and work on this project), and take away 2 weeks sick with outrageous Flu Virus! (didn’t hardly knit at all). So I guess it took about 4 weeks…but truth be told, more like 3 because I worked on other projects at the same time. I hate to get off track like that! Seems like nothing ever gets done!
My 2011 GOAL is to have only one WIP at a time! :happydance:
But first I have three 2010 WIPS to finish up!
