I made a couple of ballet dishclothes for my children’s dance teachers. You can check on my blog for more information on them. I really like making dishclothes, quick and always good for learning a new stitch or two. I found the patterns from Knitted Kitty Creations, through my Dishcloth KAL Group.
How cute! There’s no way I would actually USE them on dishes, if I were given one. They are too nice.
Beautiful! Same with my mom, I knitted her some dishcloths for Mother’s Day but now she won’t use them because she thinks they are too pretty. I looove the ballerina design!!!

The KAL group is great for finding designs. Some you will have to purchase and many are free!
They look great! I am sure they will be appreciated! It always make me laugh when some one says a dishcloth I have knit is too pretty to wash a dish with but now I understand. Those are too pretty to use on dirty dishes!
Thanks! I guess it’s better to call them “washcloths” since I am giving them with pretty bath soaps and body lotions! I was pleased that my family members that I gave them to at Christmas time actually did use them. It hadn’t occurred to me or them at that time they would be for dishes since I gave them lotions and soaps too! Maybe if we call them washclothes that would help make people feel better about using them!:teehee:
