Thankfully, they still had each other and insurance takes care of the rest! Well, the school decided to get together and get people to give stuff to them. My daughter’s grade got to get stuff together for the girl. Having no money and lots of yarn, as well as teeny, tiny knitting needles, I decided to make a few Barbie clothes for her. I went to the Stick-a-til Barbie knitting site and chose a few things. The shirt may be from somewhere else, though.

Go figure, it’s a German site… but they have I think four or five translations of languages for patterns- including English! The patterns are really nice but might be a little obscure- not for the beginning knitter but someone who has at least tried one of everything, you know. I should take a picture of the ABBA bodysuit and ruffled skirt… omg, that’s really cute and kids nowadays would like it anyway, without knowing it was ABBA. They have the full-body catsuits, too lol. I used sew Barbie clothes for my little sister and my daughter. But I never thought about knitting them
Sticka till has some really nice patterns but they’re not for the beginner. Likewise, this stuff is worked on really small needles and with really thin yarn or thread. It’s great doing it, though… they all come out lovely!

I did find some crochet patterns for Barbie… unfortunately, many of the crochet and knitting patterns I found (other than sticka till) were kind of clunky-looking or whatever. I did find a few nice crochet ones, though… and of course, the sticka till knitting ones.
