I’ve always wanted to make the bonnet from [U]Knitting for Two[/U]. but everyone I knew was having boys.
Not this time! One is having twins, one of each; and the other is having a girl. So I made one hat out of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and one out of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran. I like the pattern, so I made sweaters to match–a basic top-down cardigan with the design on the bottom.
I made a sweater and hat for the boy twin, too. I used a stitch pattern I found in one of the stitch dictionaries, Thrum stitch, I think, and basically did the same thing with the sweater and improvised the hat. It looks a little funky, but it should be cute.
