I’m so happy with how these turned out. I don’t think I could be more pleased. :cheering:

I really loved the look of the Hooded Baby Kaftan from Special Knits for Babies by Debbie Bliss, but i HATE seaming so I decided to try to utilize the Easy Baby Cardigan pattern from Knitting Pure and Simple
and make it look as much as possible like the Hooded Kaftan.

The pants are the doodle pants pattern.

I used Swish Superwash from KP and died the yarn for the pants with kool-aid. The flowers are added afterward and made from the pants yarn.

My sister is going to :heart: them!!!

ETA: I started making that cardigan and didn’t like that the hat was to be seamed on top. Did you seam it or was it done differently?

I have to go with the crowd and say WOW! those are so cute! I love that you dyed the yarn for the pants - the colors are beautiful and they make the best varigated flower patterns… marvelous!
