This is the last of my recently-knit sweaters. I designed this one also, using Ann Budd’s “The Knitter’s Handy Book of Sweater Patterns,” Barbara G. Walker’s “A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns,” and Nancie M. Wiseman’s “The Knitter’s Book of Finishing Techniques.” It is for DGD Rachel, age 2. The yarn is Lion Wool-Ease. The buttons are Peter Rabbit.

I’m over the edge when it come to finishing work. I’ll have to see if my library can get Nancie M. Wiseman’s “The Knitter’s Book of Finishing Techniques” so I can see if there’s something new for me to try.
Thanks. My local Joanns recently moved their buttons to near the back of the store, and they now have MANY more than before.
So cute! I love the cable pattern on the front.
Wow! That turned out fanstastic!! Great job!!
Your cable work is divine! That yarn is such a rich color too! What a wonderful, warm sweater!!!
That is truly beautiful!! What a lucky little granddaughter you have
Thanks. This DGD lives in Colorado, so she can use a warm sweater. We will be going out there next week for a two week visit, so I will get a picture of her in the new sweater.
DGD loves the sweater, and I am pleased that it should fit her all winter.
So very nice! Wonderful design and color! Great job!
It’s beautiful! Very interesting cable pattern on the front.
