Well, it took almost a year to make it b/c of hand problems, but the Andoa sweater is finally done. Unfortunately, it grew in the blocking so the sleeves are too long. Hmmm. Should I shorten them?
Details:
Pattern: Andoa from Berroco, altered to skip one of the stitch patterns cuz DH doesn’t like stuff to be too "patterny"
Yarn: Peru DK Luxury in Beige Khaki
Very Nice! What a lucky husband you have!
(I am really not the person to ask about shortening, but no I would not. When a project is finished – it is finished. I don’t take things back out.)
Great job, the pattern looks pretty involved as it is. Personally, I know the sleeves are a bit long but I think they look good…what does your lucky hubby think??
It looks great! I don’t think I’d shorten the sleeves, they aren’t that long. You could try re-blocking them shorter, too.
I love it. Personally i think it looks good as is so i wouldn’t shorten the sleeves
Looks great.
Really classic look.
It looks great!! I’ll bet your husband loves it. I wouldn’t shorten the sleeves either – they’re fine just the way they are.
Congrats! It turned out awesome! Very worth the wait I’d say.
…and elegant sweater! Congrates!!!
Great looking sweater and looks like a perfect fit. Congratulations!!!
This is really a nice sweater. I love the color and it looks very comfy. Great job!
Really great job! I don’t think I’d shorten the sleeves.
