FO - Alpaca Scarf

Thanks to everyone who replied to my “I need a pattern” post, I have started making this scarf out of Bernat Alpaca Yarn. I found out after starting that I should have changed to a larger needle because of the type of yarn I was using. But even though I stuck to the size 8 needle, it is coming out beautifully! Thanks again to everyone who helped me find this pattern.

Oh, and I co 34 stitches instead of 26

If the picture or pattern do not come out, please let me know. This is my first time posting a project.

The pattern can be found at:

And here are a few pictures:

That’s looking good!

Thank you! It’s taking a while due to the small needles. But I really like the way it’s coming out. Next time I will try it on larger though.

Looks good! Isn’t alpaca amazing?

It is! It’s a little hard for me to tell if I make a mistake, but I am getting used to it. And the yarn is just beautiful!

It’s beautiful, Jenn!

That looks beautiful, and so soft! cloud9
Lovely color… I don’t think I’ve every made anything with such a light color yarn. (I’m scared of stains.) But I do so admire knitted/crocheted items made with white yarn.

It’s looking really good!

In some ways knitting is like cooking; you can change ingredients/patterns around and have something that is all yours.

Thank you everyone. I am really happy with the result. The yarn is a very very pale blue. What I have always called a winter blue. It is pretty light, but its a gift, so I’m not worried about the stains. Lol.

Also, I realize now that FO is for a finished project. Oops. This one is still in process.

you’ve got a great start on it.

Looks great

Congrats! You’ve got a great start on it and it’s looking wonderful!

It looks sooooooo luscious! The stitch pattern is really working well with the yarn!!! Can’t wait til you post the finished scarf!
