it was quick to crochet & best of all the yarn was free!, :yay: free bag of yarn on the craigs list most was hideous !:ick: this was what I did with the rest.

Thatās beautiful!
Just lovely . Well done!
Verrrrry nice⦠:cheering:
I love the colors! Very nice.
That is lovely x
That is so pretty. Very ācountry cottageā, would look great draped on a bed. Mine for instance!
Gorgeous! I love the delicacy of the colours. :O) Great job! samm
Redmom, I donāt know what I like betterā¦your finished afghan (which is VERY pretty, by the way!), or your avatar! :teehee::eyebrow::drool:
The project my crochet instructor chose for our class is an afghan, and Iām a bit overwhelmed. I hope I can finish it.:thud:If you donāt mind me asking, how long did yours take?
thanks, Iām way to old but I love johnny depp:aww:. the afghan took about a week, it is 60" & just one big granny square, so very fast to crochet:).
its soo pretty. iāve only crochet very little. Iām determined to become a better crocheter. this gives me inspiration. i just find knitting to be sooo much easier plus i learned how so young. and just learned how to crochet oh 2 months ago.
I learned to crochet as a kid so for me its easy, but I am a new knitter & itās very hard!.
What a lovely blanket! It has a lot of charm. And is that really Jack Sparrow???
:noway: WOW!!! One week??? You are QUICK!!! Iām almost halfway done with an afghan for my crochet class, and it took me a week to get there; the pattern has you crochet length-wise which makes for long rows. Mine is 80" long, and when Iām done it should be 48" wide.
Iād like to learn how to do granny squares at our next crochet class. There are two cool crocheted afghans at Lion Brand using the technique you did that I may like to try at some point; this one and this one (but the latter in a ābig personā size). But I like yours, and echo what others have already said, very ācountry cottageā and very delicate.
yes that is jack sparrow!.![]()
So pretty! I
it!
You did a wonderful job with the colors. If you can do this with any old bag of yarn Iād love to see what you can do when you pick the yarn!

Iām still admiring this blanket! The yarn looks delicateāwas it worsted or lighter weight? What size hook did you use?
cloud9Very beautiful. Youāve definitely got an eye for color. :yay:
