FO A Scarf for Drea

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: This scarf ended up really long! I thought I would make a fashion scarf for my DN. This is an example of why swatches should be washed and blocked kids :teehee:

I used the Woven Stitch and it was knitted in Ivy League Cotton Worsted

I cast on 232 stitches, long tail cast on, size 9 needle; knit it in a size 7, 3 stitches on the end of each row were done in the seed stitch. 4 pattern repeats, knit one row, purl one row, and then bind off. It is 5" wide and nearly 8 feet long, including the tassels.

Well, every inch of it looks beautiful. i love the way the color changes are patterning.

That’s lovely. Very beautifully done. I like the way the colors worked out too. I always wash and machine dry my Peaches & Creme, I never even thought about blocking it. Something different to consider. Thanks!

I really like how it turned out, Claire!

Cool! And do I see a Wingspan blocking too?

:teehee: Absolutely! Got my blocking materials together so now I am a blocking fool. That is the “Moondance Wingspan”, also for my DN. She doesn’t know about the scarf, if I can manage to contain myself it will be a surprise. Scarf pin arrived yesterday, so it is time to pull this package together.

Beautiful! I love blue and brown together!

Hey look at it this way, plenty to wrap around and keep warm. It looks good even with the length!!!

Very very pretty! :muah:

It really looks great with the yarn you chose! Great work, Claire! An extra long scarf is better than a too short scarf! It has so many ways to be worn!

Off the mats and ready to go. I’m very excited about getting this mailed out.

Beautiful, Claire!! I bet she loves them both!

I love the colors Claire! She is going to be thrilled!
