FO a bag for my Daughter

My 2 year old daughter started Playschool and I decided to make her a bag to use for her extra nappy and clothes etc.

I used Funky fur for the body and Sirdar wash’n’wear for the face. the pattern is in one of my knitting magazines and was a complete pain to do. every bit was knit separately and then sewn together. I would definitely do it in the round if I made it again.

Here is a couple of photo’s am quite pleased with the end result.

Oh Wow Karina , It is lovely !! So nice and pink and fluffy , Just what every girl needs

That is amazingly cute!!! I’m sure your daughter is so proud to have it - an original!

That is so freaking cute!:yay:

It’s great, please post a picture of her with it, I bet she’ll be so cute with it!

I have tried to get her to wear it on her back and take a photo but so far she has not been able to stand still long enough for me to be successful. but will keep trying.

The teachers commented on how nice the bag was when she started and was quite surprised to hear that I had made it myself.

It got my attention!:inlove:

I JUST LOVE THAT!!! You did such a FABULOUS job!! What mag was that in?

It was in knitting september 2006. I think it is an UK mag

Looks like Bagpuss xx

It does a bit. maybe you could do it in pink and white stripes. then there would be no question.

Very cute! I am sure your BIG girl must just love to take it to “school”.

Love it! That’s really cute.

I LOVE how cute that turned out!!!

Don’t show my step-daughter (age 17 but into things that are typically for younger kids) - she’ll want one for college!!!

Here is a photo of Maisey with her bag taken this morning as we were rushing to get to school on time.

What an absolutely beautiful child! She is just beaming in this photo! You and Dad sure did a wonderful union on this one!
