FO: 58Sixty (aka 28Thirty)

I ordered the yarn for this sweater in mid-January, thinking I would be wearing it in February. But it took 5 weeks for the yarn to arrive. Then I started out knitting another sweater (Dark and Stormy) but ended up frogging it because the yarn was too heavy for the pattern. Sooo . . . here it is April and 90 degrees outside, but I have a really cute sweater for next winter!

This is a great pattern, very easy with lots of style.

Ooo that’s beautiful! :inlove: I like the color, too!

Beautiful job! I LOVE the collar on it … that’s a great pattern! :woot:

Amazing, that is a wonderful sweater and so professional looking. Just beautiful and it looks great on you.

That really does have a lot of style. Neat things going on on this. Too bad you don’t live here, winter is still trying to hang on and I think you could wear it.

I gotta’ say, I’m impressed. That is a lovely sweater, and looks great on you. It’s in my favorite color also. Great job!

Very good looking with the collar open or buttoned up. I love the length you’ve made. Beautiful work!

OOh, I love it! Perfect color and fit - the collar is great too…nice to have options on how to wear it

Oh I love that…and I’m usually very anti-self striping.

Well the timing may be frustrating but it sure turned out awesome!! Love all the details! Great job!

It’s a work of art, Marilyn! Very nice indeed! I’ve had the Dark and Stormy on my radar, too…but haven’t launched it yet! I really like this 28thirty. Why did you name yours the 58Sixty? The names are cute, but I don’t understand the abbreviation!

One nice thing about this pattern…it looks so cute in different lengths! Cropped, hip, even thigh! One lady made a full length coat!

Yes, you’ll be ready for next winter!

I’m not sure I understand the original name (28thirty), but several people on Ravelry have named theirs for their age (29th birthday, etc.) I’m turning sixty soon, so it seemed appropriate.
