FO: 2 Monkey Hats

Well, I finally made something. :wink: I have made one other little sweater within the last few months. I made a page for it on Ravelry but it is not real exciting.

There are 2 monkey hats because the big one was supposed to be for a 4-9 month old baby and isn’t so I had to try again. :eyes: I designed these. The gal I made the little one for is expecting a baby boy in May. She used to be my neighbor and I got to teach her to knit (and mom and a couple friends of hers). I told her mom I wanted to make something for baby and the gal told her mom to ask me to make her an animal hat. I picked a monkey, today I learned she is decorating the nursery with monkeys. :thumbsup:

I looked at those hats and started smiling, sort of a natural reaction to a cute and funny animals. I am sucker for kids related knits and I love your monkeys.

Antares, I offered the big hat for the mom, but her mother told me she didn’t think she had the personality to wear it. So until someone better comes along I guess I’ll be wearing it. LOL

And I’m positive you’ll look stunning in it! Of course, you’ll probably get similar reactions to your hat as I do when I wear my fish hat–and that is, most people will pretend you don’t have something cute and funny on your head! It’s a riot to watch people trying NOT to watch you!!! So enjoy yourself!
