My finished product:

No thanks to this guy:

I dont know how to crochet but thats a darn cool scarf! I love the kitty picture, it is funny how cats are stereotyped…the cat tangled in the ball of yarn, etc because it is so true.

Nice job! Love the blues! My cats used to do the same thing with any of my handwork! I think they are jealous of the time we spend with our yarn!

I like your scarf; thanks for sharing the patterns.

My cat doesn’t tangle herself in the yarn, but woe to any crocheted/knitted object that gets put down on the floor–she makes a b-line for it. Next thing you know, she’s plopped down right on top of it and quite proud of herself (as in, “Oh, look, Mommy made me a new blankie!” as squinted little kitty eyes smile up at me).

Cats and knitters go together so well, eh?

My cats don’t seem to care much when I am knitting, but the beige boy in the photo (Baby) will lie near me and periodically put his paw out and touch the yarn or the piece I’m working on. Of course, sometimes he needs head rubs RIGHT NOW in which case he’ll walk all over whatever I’m working on.

I wish I could see it… sounds cool! My kitty doesn’t get into my yarn unless it’s something interesting… like shiny yarn or bright yarn or if it has stray strands coming out or wool… Omg, I knit my brother something from this red heart yarn… and normally, she leaves that alone but this time, she was ALL over it! I think the bright orange just gets her right. Btw, she’s not a true cat… I think there’s some magpie in her breeding somewhere…

wow cool
