This pattern is from the book Weekend Knitting. I used the Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille. This is the third one that I have made. It is a fast, easy project but looks really impressive. They make great gifts. I am making one using KP’s Crayon now. I am planning to make these for Sunday School teacher Christmas gifts.
I think I miscounted the rows for the petal on the bottom right :rollseyes: it looks bigger than the others.

I’ve gotten really addicted to making these to the point where I look everywhere for cotton chenille to buy. I think I’ve made at least a dozen. I’ll be interested in hearing how Crayon works for you. The only other yarn I’ve used is a cotton terry-type, which obscured the pattern slightly, but still looked pretty good.
I love it…love the color! I love this pattern, I want to knit some…I may have to just get the book

I bought the book just for this pattern and even tho I like other things in this book, that’s all I’ve knit from it so far!

Just today I completed the very same face cloth also made with Crystal Palace CC. The only problem I encountered was near the very end on one of the decrease rows when the chenille broke. :?? I was able to salvage it though and am looking forward to using it.
I keep meaning to make one of these - I love the color you chose. The whole thing just looks so squishy and yummy.
