Fixed hole

I am so proud of myself! I am making a really nice shawl and it has lots of yarn overs. I unintentionally added a yarn over and had a hole where there wasn’t supposed to be one. I had a longer tail than I usually leave before starting and I was able to to take that tail and weave it in, and then close up the hole! I don’t usually do sewing or that kind of stuff so I am really happy I was able to fix the hole and nobody will even notice. After I sewed the hole shut, even I can’t tell!

Yay!
Cheering for you.
It’s amazing what a bit of weaving in or sewing can do isn’t it? I’ve done this myself on various places where something didn’t look quite right and the result astonished me.
You’re right, afterwards it’s just about undetectable.
Happy for you that you were able to fix your hole and gain another skill.

Congratulations! That is so satisfying! I’ve been dropping stitches lately and am so proud of myself for fixing them. When it happens, I wonder about all the folks who don’t know about the simple fixes, as I didn’t for decades!

So satisfying when you can repair (or hide) a mistake. It’s all good experience and definitely a confidence builder. Sounds like a lovely shawl!

YAY! All the work that goes into a shawl and then see a hole. But you fixed it. After learning to knit I think fixing mistakes is the most important thing to learn.
