I am VERY lazy and I need to loose weight. Iāll be alot more active when school starts (9 days D:)
This summer, Iāve barely left the house and have eaten more junk than usual. During the school years though, Iām more active and I drink alot more water. I also get a bit hooked on the caffeine pills.
By the way, when we move onto a different week are we adding it to the all the former steps? Or are we removing the last weeks steps and just focusing on one week at a time?
I think weāll be adding to the previous steps. At least, thatās what I plan on doing.
So, I went to McDonaldās for lunch today, BUT instead of the QP w/ cheese meal that I wanted, I got a Hamburger Happy Meal with a chocolate milk. About 1/2 the fat and calories AND I still felt full after, proving that I really didnāt need the bigger meal. Little steps, little steps.
Good job! I ate me some noodles with tomatoe sauce on it and drank a glass of water. I can also get in thoes 10 min walks (the kids love to go on walks) They will probably turn into 1/2 hour walks just because of all stopping :doh: But it is a start.

As a matter of fact, Iām going to go pour out the 1/2-cup of warmed over coffee Iāve been sipping and replace it with a big ole glass of ice water.

I just read an article last night that says you should increase your time by 2% every week. I thought it fit right in with our baby steps.

Just wanted to wish you ladies good luck :yay: and I just wanted to share if you donāt mind.When I lived in Kansas I worked outside :hot: and I never drank enough water I hated drinking water so I got the idea to drink water through a straw,because I always drank pop through a straw and seems like I could drink a gallon of pop :shrug: So i brought water to work and drank it through a straw and low and behold I could drink water all day long :shrug: To this day I still drink water through a straw and can drink all the water I need.Just wanted to share,So try a straw it may help with drinking all that water :clink:
I drink more when I use a straw, too! Great suggestion!
Oh, one more suggestion: try to get a good nightās sleep every night. The amount the body needs varies from person to person. If youāre unsure how much you need, try to get at least 7 hours, then tweak from there. Fatigue can cause hunger pangs when there is no actual hunger, can cause sugar spikes, memory loss, and all sorts of nastiness. So, get your beauty rest!
Sleeping 8 hours a night and drinking 64 oz. of water a day (separate from my other bevvies) are my goals this week. Iāve had a lot of water today, but I only got about 6.5 hours of sleep last night. I know my body needs more; I can feel it.

So Iāve lost ONE STINKINā POUND in a week. I guess itās better than nothing, and Iām starting to feel really good with all the working out iāve been doing. Anyway, Iām drinking a lot of water, and starting tomorrow, DH and I are doing a few day juice and water fast. Itās going to be hard, but I know itās going to be great. I just have to make sure I drink a lot of water and drink a lot of veggie broth or eat watermelon in order for me to stay sane.

juice and water FAST??? How does it work⦠i mean, I know you donāt drink juice or water, but what is the reason?
I ONLY drink juice and water. It will clean out the system (believe me). Itās to get all the crappy toxins out of the body. You can also take this psyllium husk stuff (total fiber, like holy cow) and that will help clean you out. We will make a veggie broth tomorrow, garlic, onions, root vegetables. it would be great if we could eat them, but that would be going against the fast. so you drink the broth from them and that keeps you going. and watermelon. because then you actually feel like youāre eating something!!
oooooooooooo so itās not really a fast FROM those things, itās a fast from everything ELSE
