I finished this a couple of weeks ago and took a photo of it with my iPad Mini. The photo was too big for this site and there’s no facility on an iPad Mini for shrinking a photo, so I had to send it to my husband so that he could shrink it.
The doll is a Mary Maxim doll and I have about 3 more to knit these little jumpers for. I now have a big ball of bright pink yarn and have started a second one.
There is a basic editor in iPad, but it doesn’t resize (scale). I use PhotoPad to crop and resize photos to post in the forum. You can get it here. http://www.zagg.com/j/photopad.php
ETA: for some reason the app doesn’t show up the app store. I’ve sent a question to the Zagg people. In the meantime there are lots of other photo apps. Since your specific needs are crop/resize go to the App Store and type in photo crop and resize. Photo edit should also get you apps that’ll work.
Thank you very much! I based the pattern on the original fish and chip baby jumper pattern - the fish-and-chip description refers to the baby, not the jumper by the way. Apart from the numbers of rows and stitches being different for the doll’s jumper, I stitched together the bottom of the sleeves rather than the sides of the sleeves.
I’m not sure about posting my doll’s jumper pattern here - would I be best to send it by private message to anyone wanting it? Advice would be appreciated. The original pattern can be found by Googling, if anyone wants to do their own adaptation for any doll - mine was just for a Mary Maxim doll.
