I am working the 4th size. I understand that rib 2 means to k or p the next x amount of stitches. I understand rib2tog is a decrease. I’m confused with what I repeat 15 times, as there’s not enough sts to repeat the whole thing 15 times. This is my first big project, I started knitting on 18th December 2021. My great Aunty taught me the craft at 15 but I never took it up properly, until my grandma said she wanted a hat, so I thought I’d pick the needles up and see what I could do.

Did you start with 110sts? That would work out to 94sts remaining after 16 total decreases. The repeat is within the parentheses: (rib 5, rib2tog) 15x.
It was the best thing I did. I’ve loved it and develop my skills quickly. She absolutely loved it! It was a bit loose though, so ended up making her another and that’s much better. I did start with 110 sts. Brilliant - thank you so much! That’s really helped me! Thank you so much
