First Sweater

I’m getting ready to cast-on for my first sweater, but as I’ve been swatching in the round using a 16" inch circular needle, I’m starting to worry that my sleeves are going to be too big width-wise because I have slender arms. How can I make my sleeves fit correctly without having to resort to using DPNs? (It’s not that I’m afraid of DPNs…I just have to avoid using them as much as possible because they are the reason I’m currently nursing a bad case of tendonitis.)

Check out the techniques page here for small diameter knitting. Magic Loop and two circular knitting can both work instead of DPNs.
