Okay from what I understand of your red area, you’re going to do the following :

K2tog, knit until 2 stitches remain, K 2 tog. {10, 12, 13}
I am doing the largest size.
Knit 2 together, knit 10, knit 2 together
(this is assuming you cast on with 15 stitches, since you’re decreasing 2 stitches on that row…one at the beginning and one at the end)
NEXT ROWS; PURL

rEPEAT BETWEEN *S.
Stop WHEN 4 {6, 7} STITCHES ARE ON YOUR NEEDLE.
Continue alternating the decrease row with the purl row until you only have 7 stitches left on your needle. This should be:
Decrease row (ending with 11 stitches)
Purl row
Decrease row (ending with 9 stitches)
Purl row
Decrease row (ending with 7 stitches)
Purl row

Does this help?
