It wasn’t so hard after all! And I knit like crazy to get them in by yesterday for the Model Your Socks contest. My friends were impressed that I was able to wear heels and walk and carry on a conversation and knit on double pointed needles all at once. (shh, don’t tell them it’s not as hard as it looks). I earned the name “The Shizknitter”. Please refer to me as that from now on. :teehee:

I used two hanks of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport on size 3 needles in the color Black Purl. And I’ll tell the photographer you like his photos. Thanks. :happydance: That pattern is essentially just that in Silver’s Sock Tutorial online. But I found another page that said for slouch socks, do 2 inches ribbing and 2 inches plain stockinette. So I did that, but made the stockinette part 4 inches. I think next time I will do slouch socks again, but I think it will be better to rib for an inch, st st for an inch, rib another inch, st st for an inch and so on.
Not only are the socks awesome, but those are some great artistic photos!
