I’ve been doing alot of little things to knit down my stash. So when I’m at home I work on DH’s sweater and when I’m on the go I work on one of these small things. I’ve made 4 Calorimetery and I decided to try gauntlets. I’d never done it before but I figured how hard could it be. The only thing that I had any trouble with was the thumb gusset but I figured it out. The pattern is of course one of my favorites, I just adapted Brooke Nelson’s Column of Leaves scarf pattern. I’m currently knitting the right gauntlet. The yarn is LB WE Dark Rose Heather which I have tons of, and they’re done on size 6 dpn.
And I just love that colour!! It seems I desperately need to start looking for a proper yarnstore because the craftshop in my town certainly doesn’t have such awsome yarn!
Thanks everyone, I really liked doing them. I’ve started a pair for my DGD using ML method and it’s a little awkward right now but I’ll get the hang of it. This is my 1st ML project. I’ve adapted the Knitty Heart pattern by Stephannie Roy. I’ll post pics when I’ve got a little more done. :psst: [SIZE=1]Unless something happens and I have to [SIZE=2]
I love it, it’s beautiful. I have a couple of fabric pairs, I didn’t consider knitting a pair until now. (Although they won’t be nice stitches like that)
