First felted object?

I want to try out felting. Something pretty easy, and not too big.

Any ideas?

Here are a lot of felted patterns, some big, some small.

I want some sort of felted bowl or whatever to put needles in.
Any idea?

Sort of like a tall vase looking thing…lol.

Here’s a “wine snuggly” but I could see it easily being a needle holder too, even includes a nifty handle.
