Even though we got out in may, this still seems sooo early.
Its about this time of year when i wish we actually didn’t have two weeks for fall break and two weeks for spring break. :roll:

Our first day is August 29th, and we get out mid-June…

That stinks. I would rather have a longer summer than those 2 breaks you’re getting in the fall and spring. I don’t know where you live, but around here, some of the older elementary schools don’t have air conditioning, and it’s too hot to go to school right now!
The city where I live is split between two school districts. In District #1, the elementary schools on year-round schedule started back on July 5. The middle schools will start up on August 6 (next Monday). District #2 is on a modified traditional schedule with one week vacation for fall, three weeks for winter, and two weeks in the spring. The first day of school for them is August 15 – my daughter is going into 7th grade, and my niece will start Kindergarten that day.

We go back next week, we get 3 months off for summer, a week off for Spring, a week off for Thanksgiving, and 2 weeks for Christmas.
Wow, that’s super early. We used to start the last week on Aug. and go until mid June and We had a week off for Christmas, in Feb., and in April and 3 days off for Thanksgiving. Do you go to a private school?
Up until last year, our school year was similar. They’d get out on/around May 22, and go back first week of August.
This year, they made summer a little longer, and they go back August 20th.
Our kids started Aug 2nd, and this year they have taken away 3 weeks of their breaks during the school year, and they are only getting out a week early in May. So they are going 2 weeks longer than usual.
I don’t like it when school starts, it’s harder on me now than when I was in school. :roll:
My school district gets out of school May 30 if there isn’t any snow days, and we start school August 16. You don’t have a long summer at all! And I think we have the same fall and spring break lengths…
my spawn starts on Aug 27.
