It shrunk a little more than I wished it would, but for a first attempt, it isn’t too bad.

The yarn is the new Paton SWS yarn in the Geranium color. I really liked it! I rewet it and am trying to stretch it out just a bit to make it a bit bigger.
Not too bad, indeed! It’s really pretty. I think you should go frolicking through the forest with it filled with red roses. No?

Oh honey, it would be real ugly having me “frolic” doing anything! 
EVERYONE who has felted SWS says it felts really fast. Mekes it really hard when yarns felt at different rates. I’m not sure you can stretch it, but at least you know now.
The problem was that I had a Paton’s book of felted handbags and I followed their directions exactly. Since I had never felted before I figured the yarn manufacturer’s directions should be followed. Ahh, well, the handbag looks nice it is just a lot smaller than I would have hoped. I am giving it to my dil anyway.
Patons does felt SO fast! Cute bag though!
