I completed my first Fair Isle FO today… a simple hat, knit flat then seamed together with mattress stitch along the back.

I think I could have gotten my stitches a little more even but its not too bad for my first try I think.
It was done in Vanna’s Choice yarn… I didn’t want to splurge for something that I could have possibly screwed up royally :lol

I made up the pattern for the hat but the fair isle pattern was pulled directly from Vogue’s Stitchionary 3… I absolutely LOVE the stitch patterns in that book
